Metropolitan Community College-Blue River will hold a Workforce Innovation Network Series (WINS) breakfast meeting for community leaders, executives and industry partners to discuss the challenges in recruiting employees in the construction field.
The free breakfast event will be Wednesday, Feb. 26, 7- 9 a.m., at MCC-Blue River, Education Building 110. The campus is at 20301 E. 78 Highway in Independence.
The construction workforce discussion will be led by MCC Chancellor Kimberly Beatty and will feature the following panelists:
- Anita Davis, Mid-America Regional Council
- David Disney, JE Dunn Construction
- Karen Hogan, Turner Construction
- Romond Holt, The Builders’ Association
- Mardy Leathers, Missouri Office of Workforce Development
