Metropolitan Community College is once again giving business owners an opportunity to connect with other businesses to grow their work.
The 5th Annual Midwest Supplier Diversity Exposition takes place Wednesday, May 16, at MCC-Business & Technology campus. It runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event is designed for minority-owned, women-owned, LGBTQ-owned, veteran-owned, service-disabled veteran owned and Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUB Zone) enterprises to showcase their products and services for free, while meeting procurement officers from the public and private sector and networking with other entrepreneurs.
At 9 a.m., business owners and corporate representatives who entered into contracts as a result of their participation in the 2017 Procurement One-on-One and MWBE Exposition will be recognized at the Contract Awards Recognition Ceremony.
