Metropolitan Community College enjoyed rolling along with the 46th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday, March 17. Members of College leadership joined in the fun aboard a truck decked out in green for the holiday.
The yearly event has historically staged outside the front doors of the MCC Administrative Center, and this year was no different as parade floats, bands and dance troupes lined Broadway to take their turns in the cavalcade.
Joining MCC Chancellor Dr. Kimberly Beatty on the College’s entry were her husband, Kelvin Beatty; MCC trustees McClain Bryant Macklin and Phil LeVota; and Chief Legal Officer Sandra Garcia.

The enrollment team: Jessica Booth, Chris Booth, John Hudson and Carlton Fowler
It was a chilly day for a parade, with temperatures that hovered in the 40s. A special shout-out goes to the MCC enrollment team of Carlton Fowler, John Hudson, Jessica Booth (plus Jessica’s husband, Chris!) who manned the MCC booth for the College outside the Health Science Institute at 34th and Broadway.
The College also appreciates the work of Mary Beth Hope from the College Relations office for her assistance with decorating the float, the team from Communications and Public Relations, the Marketing Department, MCC Facilities, MCC Police Department and the MCC Legal Office.
