Trail of Treats at MCC-Business & Technology campus a big hit

Students received treats from lineman students as they hung on the poles during class.

More than 450 students from Frontier School of Innovation Elementary made their way through the “Trail of Treats” at the Metropolitan Community College-Business & Technology campus on Halloween.

It was part of Campus Life & Leadership’s Fall Fun Fest, a daylong event.

There were 10 stops on the Trail of Treats, including the campus’ pole field, where students got to see members of the Hi-Line Club, electrical lineman students, in action.

“One of my ELL (English language learners) non-speakers kept saying, ‘It’s good, Ms. Taylor! It’s good!’ It was the closest he could get to expressing his excitement. MCC did an awesome job!” said Lisa Lamb, a Frontier School teacher.

Thanks to Juhl Greenhouse and Truck Farm in Wathena, Kansas, for donating pumpkins for decoration.
