More than one hundred Kansas City Public School (KCPS) students converged on the Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley campus to network with the College’s admissions and enrollment experts.
The event, called the MCC-KCPS Fair, on Nov. 1 was the first of its kind in conjunction with the school district. Students were able to learn about what programs MCC has to offer and how to start the process of applying to college.
“We had a great event and were able to service around a 150 Seniors from KCPS,” says Admissions Manager John Hudson. “We look forward to growing our numbers and strengthening our partnership.”
Participating high schools included East, Central, Southeast, Northeast, Paseo and Lincoln. Students from the charter schools DE LaSalle, Hogan, Alta Vista, Allen Village, University Academy and Frontier also attended.
