MCC-Maple Woods annual Storytelling Celebration begins Nov. 8

The 18th Annual Storytelling Celebration, sponsored by Metropolitan Community College-Maple Woods is nearly here!

The celebration takes place Nov. 8-11.  Attendees can enjoy lively stories, anecdotes, myths, legends and lessons.  It celebrates the time honored tradition of storytelling and will be held in dozens of sites across the Kansas City metro area.

  • Thursday, Nov. 9: Thursday Night Storytelling concert
    • Time: 7-8:15 p.m.

  • Friday, Nov. 10: Friday Family Fun Night
    • Time: 6:30-7:15 p.m.

    • Featuring: Priscilla Howe
