Student Art Show & Sale April 6-20 at MCC-Penn Valley

The Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley Carter Art Center Gallery is celebrating its fourteenth year and is excited to announce the details of its annual Student Art Show & Sale.

“It’s an opportunity for us to not only spotlight our successful history, but to also look forward to the dynamic programming we have underway,” says Bernadette Esperanza Torres, gallery director.

The exhibition showcases a variety of art from talented students.

MCC is honored to have local artist, Marcus Cain (MCC-Penn Valley alumnus and 2012 Charlotte Street award recipient), serve as the judge for the show.

25% of the sales from the artwork goes toward student scholarships.

Due to generous art buyers, MCC-Penn Valley has awarded four students $300 scholarships for art classes annually.
