Missouri lawmakers meet with MCC campus presidents

Metropolitan Community College campus presidents spent time in the state’s capital the week of Feb. 20 to talk with lawmakers about the importance of community college and the direct impact higher education has on training and educating the next generation.

MCC students were also part of the delegation to Jefferson City. Thirteen students from MCC-Longview traveled with campus President Kirk Nooks to the capital on Feb. 22.

MCC thanks all the Missouri lawmakers who spent time talking to our community college leaders and students about how to grow the state’s workforce.

We appreciated state Rep. Greg Razer introducing MCC-Business & Technology President Jackie Gill and MCC-Penn Valley Interim President Tony Ross on the Missouri House of Representatives floor.
