MCC sends two dogs West to new family

Metropolitan Community College first shared the good news that a nationally known veterinarian and his family were adopting two dogs from the MCC-Maple Woods Veterinary Technology program  early this fall. Well, the pet connection with Dr. Marty Becker and his wife Teresa is complete, thanks to a post-Thanksgiving Day hand-off.

Several vet tech students drove halfway to Idaho on November 26 to meet the Beckers to deliver Quin’C and Quill’N.

The lucky dogs will be making their new home with the Beckers at their Almost Heaven Ranch in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

We are happy to report, all are doing well.

Dr. Becker tracked their journey to the pickup point on his Facebook page. See below for the various posts. If you click each photo, it will take you directly to the entry.
