You know about Black Friday and Cyber Monday. But have you heard of Giving Tuesday?
Giving Tuesday is the Tuesday after Thanksgiving — this year, Nov. 29. Organizers call it “a global day of giving” and the kickoff of the charitable season, when many people make holiday and end-of-the-year charitable donations.
Metropolitan Community College hopes you’ll consider a monetary gift to the MCC Foundation, which is raising funds for Student Success Centers on each of the five MCC campuses. By renovating existing space, these centers will bring together academic advising, counseling, tutoring, career path development and more under one roof on each campus.

You can promote MCC’s involvement in Giving Tuesday by using #GivingTuesdayMCC on social media.
“As we give thanks this season, we are reminded of the good things in our lives,” says Jessica Ramirez, associate vice chancellor for advancement. “#GivingTuesdayMCC is a great time to provide opportunity for others close to home.”
The Student Success Centers initiative is part of the MCC Foundation’s larger MCC Works campaign.
