MCC-Maple Woods presents the Haunted Barn

For six years, the Metropolitan Community College-Maple Woods Veterinary Technology program has offered a Halloween event, designed to delight those in search of seasonal fright.

And this, the sixth annual “Haunted Barn,” will not disappoint the thrill seekers.

The MCC community and general public are invited. Here are the event specifics.

MCC-Maple Woods Veterinary Technology program’s Haunted Barn:

  • Dates:  Friday, Oct. 28 and Saturday, Oct. 29
  • Time:  8-11 p.m.
  • Location:  MCC-Maple Woods (Vet Tech Building), 2601 NE Barry Road,
    Kansas City, Missouri
  • Cost:  General public-$7, Students (with ID)-$5
  • Caution:  Patrons must be 18 or have a guardian sign before entering. This event is not recommended for small children.

This year, veterinary technology students are planning to use some of the profits to purchase pet oxygen masks for local fire departments so they can be better prepared for rescue efforts involving animals.

Proceeds also benefit other participating MCC-Maple Woods student groups.
