Chancellor emeritus Jacqueline Snyder named a Park University trustee

Jacqueline Snyder, Ed.D., MCC’s chancellor from 2005 to 2010, has been elected by the Park University Board of Trustees to a spot on the board.

Before being named chancellor, Snyder served as president of MCC-Penn Valley for 6-1/2 years, and before that she was vice chancellor of economic and resource development. She worked here 15 years in all.

Prior to joining MCC, Snyder spent 17 years at Johnson County Community College, working as an administrator and faculty member. For nine years she was an educator in the Shawnee Mission School District.

Snyder lives in Parkville, the location of Park University’s main campus.

William L. Perry, Ph.D., also joined the Park University board effective July 1. Perry is president emeritus of Eastern Illinois University.
