Bret Bonge of Kansas City Power and Light, Michael D. Pospisil of Edgar Law Firm LLC and Darin N. Shank of Merrill Lynch have joined the Metropolitan Community College Foundation board of directors.
Bret Bonge is the Director of Employee Relations and Staffing at Kansas City Power and Light. Bonge brings more than 20 years of experience working as a human resources professional to the board. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Rockhurst University and a Bachelor of Science from University of Nebraska. Bonge sits on the Board of Directors for The Labor-Management Council of Greater Kansas City and Chairs the Missouri Energy Workforce Consortium.
Michael D. Pospisil a Partner at Edgar Law Firm LLC has also joined The Metropolitan Community College Foundation board of directors. Pospisil has worked as an attorney for Bryan Cave, H&R Block and as a Judicial Law Clerk for Justice William Connolly for the Nebraska Supreme Court. Pospisil holds a J.D. from the University Of Nebraska College Of Law, and a B.A. from Creighton University. He serves as a member of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys and devotes time to Pro Bono activities that include the Finance Committee of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church.
The Metropolitan Community College Foundation board of directors is proud to announce that Darin N. Shank, Senior Financial Advisor and Assistant Vice President at Merrill Lynch will join the board. Shank has also served as an adjunct professor at Keller Graduate School of Management, as a financial advisor for UBS and as District Supervisor for Waddell & Reed. Shank holds a Master of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management, Bachelor of Science fromUniversity of Illinois and an Associate in Applied Science from Community College of the Air Force. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Kansas City Repertory Theatre, is president of the University Of Illinois Alumni Club Of Kansas City and is a member of the National Eagle Scout Association.
The new board members will serve an initial term on the MCC Foundation Board of Directors that runs through June 30, 2016.
