Second MNU alum joins Maple Woods coaching staff

Oumar SeckOumar Seck, former assistant coach for Johnson County Community College and a recent graduate of Mid-America Nazarene University, has joined MCC-Maple Woods as head coach for the Monarchs.

Seck played one season at JCCC before transferring to play at Mid-America Nazarene for three years. Seck earned a degree in sports management from MNU with a minor in coaching.

After graduating, Seck returned to JCCC to coach alongside his former head coach  Fatai Ayoade in 2012, helping lead the team to an 11-8-0 record. That team reached the NJCAA Region VI championship for the first time since 2007.

Seck is originally from Senegal, Africa.
