City Union Mission honors MCC employee Barb Friedmann for community service

City Union Mission will honor an MCC employee this year during the Women Who’ve Changed the Heart of the City luncheon scheduled for April 14.

Barb Friedmann will be recognized as one one of Kansas City’s most passionate leaders. As the founder and former executive director of Coalition for Community Collaboration/Community Together, Barb unified more than 450 organizations that serve the disenfranchised and poor to assist at risk children and families our area.  City Union Mission leaders says Barb truly has changed the heart of the city!  To read more about the event and the other women honored please visit the link below.
