The American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) hosted their Annual Workforce Development Institute Conference (WDI) titled Workforce Remix. The conference aligned key goals and recommendations from AACC’s 21st-Century Commission.

Dr. Hasan A.Naima, President of MCC- Business and Technology, attended the meeting. During the conference, the focus was to move community college leaders across the nation to reimagine and reinvent ways to work together to revitalize workforce and economic growth. As more importance in placed on preparing students for school and work, community colleges need effective and efficient tools, strategies, and solutions to deliver.

The speakers, sessions, and topics concentrated on how to activate, innovate, and implement some of those solutions in the increasingly evolving climate. This meeting was also designed to connect key stakeholders working to train a better educated, higher-earning workforce nationwide.
