Four more MCC Foundation Board members have earned director emeritus status. The prestigious title is only given individuals who have shown distinguished service to MCC and to the Foundation. This status also grants a lifetime service to sit on the board. All four honorees have at one time served as chairman of the board for the MCC Foundation.
New Director Emeritus Honorees
Anita Maltbia, who joined the board in 1996, was honored with the new status. Maltbia is the Director of Green Impact Zone and works to raise the quality of life environmentally, economically and socially.
John Dillingham has been active on the board since 1996. Dillingham is the President and Director of JoDill, INC and Dillingham Enterprises, Inc. Dillingham sits on a long list of boards and is highly involved in organizations that focus on education and growth in the Kansas City area.
Kent Huyser, MCC Foundation Executive Director says, “ I am honored to work with a board that is incredibly dedicated to our mission. MCC is always looking to prepare students, serve communities and create opportunities. The fact that all four Director Emeritus honorees have at one time served as chairman of the board for the MCC Foundation portrays their commitment and passion to this community.”
Long-serving Foundation board members Carl DiCapo and Bill Dunn Jr. were honored with director emeritus status in 2013.
New officers were named to the MCC Foundation Board. Jason Dalen, the Associate Director of the Civic Council of Greater Kansas City, was named Vice Chair of the board for the MCC Foundation. Dalen joined the board in 2012. Currently Dalen is responsible for directing the Civic Council’s legislative and advocacy activities at the local, state and federal level.
CiCi Rojas will serve as secretary. Kathy Achelpohl and Josh Maxfield will serve as at-large members.
