MCC-Maple Woods Anthropology Club hosts RUBILK race for charity

The MCC-Maple Woods Anthropology Club is hosting a Spring RUBILK (Run, Bike, Walk) event on the Maple Woods campus beginning at 8:30 a.m. May 3. Participants should meet at Parking Lot 4 on the Maple Woods campus (follow the signs).

The event will consist of either a run (4K), a bike ride (8K) or a walk (4K) on the Shoal Creek trail that crosses through the Maple Woods campus. The entry fee is a $5 raffle ticket per person, and all tickets will be put into a prize drawing after the race.

All proceeds from the race will benefit the Moises Bertoni Foundation, which seeks to educate and support indigenous girls in Paraguay start and sustain rural entrepreneurship in their communities.
