The MCC Institute for Workforce Innovation is offering free workshops for companies interested in learning more about Missouri Customized Training Program, a program that can help your company with the cost of training new and existing employees.

The Missouri Customized Training Program (MCT) is designed to assist for-profit companies with training Missouri workers to meet the increased demands of technology, quality and productivity while focusing on job creation and retention, capital investment and competitive wage rates. The MCT Program assist eligible companies with training customized to meet their specific needs as they look to increase productivity, increase quality, introduce new technology or add new products. The type of training ranges from technical and quality focused to soft skills which are needed to meet that company’s specific skill gaps. Assistance is available for a variety of training costs including internal and external instructional salaries, curriculum development and training materials. Targeted industries include but are not limited to: advanced manufacturing, energy, bioscience, headquarters, IT, financial & professional services (involved in interstate commerce) and transportation/logistics.
Metropolitan Community College is currently working with companies to make application for funding through the MCT Program for fiscal year 2015 which begins in July. The state has recently enhanced the program significantly so make plans to attend this upcoming workshop to learn more about the program and the application process. Staff from MCC will be available after the event to meet individually with companies if needed.
