MCC earns #2 spot on KCBJ’s ‘Top Colleges’ list

KCBJ logoMetropolitan Community College has been named one of the top 5 colleges in metropolitan Kansas City by the Kansas City Business Journal.

The ranking, part of the publication’s annual ‘Top Area Colleges and Universities’ list, is based on fall 2013 credit enrollment. For the second year in a row, MCC is no. 2 on the list. Johnson County Community College is no. 1. In previous years, MCC has earned both the no. 1 and the no. 2 slots.

MCC also ranked highly on sub-lists the publication compiled based on other indicators. The college was ranked no. 1 for current and projected spring enrollment, and no. 4 on a list that ranked the institutions based on annual budget.
