MCC-Maple Woods Vet Tech adoptions still available

The Maple Woods vet tech department still has 6 animals that need forever homes by the end of the semester.  They need your help!   Here’s a little more about these amazing companions…..

mcgruffThis is McGgruff…he is a 2 year old male Rottweiler Mix.  He is super small, very treat motivated and easily trained.  He is playful and has a good disposition.  He would enjoy a home with kids to play with.

coraThis is Cora. She is also about 2 years old.  She is a shepherd mix.  She loves tennis balls!   She is very shy at first, but once she gets to know you she is very playful and sweet.  We think she will be a very loyal dog, bond strongly with her forever person and be a good watchdog!  Little kids scare her a little bit, but older children might be less scary.

chili Say hello to Chili.  She is a 1 year old mix breed dog… maybe some lab, maybe some boxer?  She is a beautiful brindle and white.  From the picture you can tell she loves to play in the creek!  She loves toys and has a lot of energy to play.  She would be a terrific running partner!  She may be a little too energetic for small kids, as she may accidentally knock them over!

porkchopsMeet Porkchops.  He is a ham!  He has a very curious personality.  He even learned to give high five!   He is food motivated and could probably learn other tricks too!  He is about a year old and is quite the handsome black and white cat.  He likes to play with the other cats around here and loves catnip!

gretelGretel is about 2 years old.  She is an absolute doll.  She loves to be held like a baby and get lots of pets!  She has had an eye infection which we have been treating and all during her treatment, she has been the sweetest girl.  She loves to be in your lap and enjoys time in her big comfy bed.  Give her a chance and you will fall in love.

ursulaMeet Ursula.  She is an independent, sassy girl.  She has a saucy cat personality through and through.  We think she would be an excellent mouser.  She likes cuddles, when she asks for them. She doesn’t really mind other cats, but would be perfectly happy by herself too.  And she could probably hold her own with a dog too!

All animals have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, socialized, dewormed and had dental cleanings.  They all came from local shelters and are just waiting for that special person to give them a chance…..if you have been thinking about adding to your family, please email and we can set up a time for you to come meet them!  Please feel free to share and pass along!
