Last week, the new Kearney Public Computer Center celebrated a joint ribbon-cutting event with the Firehouse Center for Creative Excellence.
On Thurs., Nov. 8, the Kearney community gathered to attend the official launch of the newly renovated Firehouse Center, which will feature artistic, technological, and other educational opportunities for Northland residents. The Firehouse has partnered with MCC’s Public Computer Centers to include free digital literacy courses and equipment access in their service offerings.
Over 150 people attended the event, including the Kearney Chamber of Commerce, many high school students, and MCC staff and faculty.
MCC looks forward to additional partnership opportunities with Kearney-area organizations.
