Remembrance: Arthur Brady, EMS/paramedic faculty member

Long-time allied health faculty member Arthur Brady passed away in St. Louis on April 17.  Brady was with Metropolitan Community College for more than 25 years as a full-time EMS/paramedic faculty member. He eventually took over as coordinator of the program.  He subsequently ran the Patient Simulation Lab in CC301 before the opening of the Health Science Institute in 2010.  When the new building opened he headed up the Virtual Hospital.  He then returned to lead the EMS/Paramedic program until his retirement in 2015.  Post-retirement, he continued to teach as an adjunct.

Brady was a gifted photographer and a truly gentle soul.  He loved teaching and was one of the most positive and welcoming individuals imaginable.  He will be deeply missed by colleagues and students.
