MCC SkillsUSA Team Preparing for State Contest



MCC students recently won 27 medals while competing at West Central District SkillsUSA contest.  Students from the Automotive Technology, HVAC/R, Cisco, MoWins Health IT and other programs participated in Missouri West Central District SkillsUSA contest, which was held March 8, 2013 at a variety of locations including MCC-Business & Technology.  Fifteen MCC students qualify for Missouri State competition April 4-6, 2013 at Linn State Technical College.  MCC’s SkillsUSA chapter has more than doubled its membership every year since its 2010 inception.  Students interested in participating in one of the 94 SkillsUSA contest areas should contact Katherine Douglas at 816.604.5446 or
