The MCC hiring system known as PeopleAdmin has undergone a name change with its recent upgrade. The new name, which you will see in future communications, is now “Jobs at MCC.” This is the first of two phases and will effect benefit eligible actions. Information concerning phase II will be communicated at a later date.
“Hiring the right people for MCC is one of the most important things we do here,” said Rodger LaBeth, trainer at MCC. “The upgraded system allows us to focus on the process so things don’t fall through the cracks.”
Jobs at MCC is not just a new name for the HR hiring system – but a new look and feel as well. Several features have been added which make the hiring process more intuitive, and its more modern look is easier on the eye.
Some features include:
- Browser “Back” button navigation
- Use of “Next” button to help guide steps
- Spell check capabilities
- Streamlined look
- Color enhancements to indicate user position (applicant tracking vs. position management)
Employees needing immediate access to training will receive two emails in the coming days. One email from Human Resources highlighting more user specific details, and one email from Organizational Development giving current users (those initiating actions for benefit eligible positions) an opportunity to register for training.
Training will be held the week of May 7-11 and May 14-18. Watch your MCC Outlook email for more details.
