Student Support Services
The Career Education Consortium helps students and families learn about, prepare for, and apply for financing a postsecondary education in an effort to increase the rate of Missourians who attend and succeed in higher education. Project activities include 1) distribution of financial literacy information to Consortium high school students and families; and 2) provide counseling and assessments geared toward college enrollment. To expand, strengthen and improve efficiency and effectiveness of student learning support programs, services that demonstrate abilities to increase academic success, student development services and increase academic success and retention of students. Not funded. U.S. Department of Education.
Provide college financial aid application and scholarship assistance, guide college application and enrollment process, and refer clients to ABE/GED service agencies. New components require services for military personnel and veterans and tracking number of completed FAFSAs. U.S. Department of Education.
