Advisory Committee

Executive Compliance Committee

This committee is comprised of Senior Administrators representing the key functions within MCC.  The Executive Compliance Committee members include: Mark James, Chancellor; the Vice Chancellors; and a campus president selected by the Chancellor.

The role of the Executive Compliance Committee is to:

  • Direct policy and set the tone
  • Monitor progress in Key Compliance Areas
  • Review updates on compliance developments and best practices
  • Allocate appropriate resources for compliance areas

Districtwide Compliance Committee

This committee is composed of key representatives from various departments and functional areas of the College.  Team members are responsible for reporting and performing duties as assigned in their particular areas, reviewing Metropolitan Community College current institutional policies, practices and commitment as it relates to the assigned areas, generating recommendations necessary for compliance in assigned areas, gathering supporting evidence and documentation for compliance reporting, ensuring that an active compliance calendar is in place and that compliance requirements are communicated within the members particular area of assignment.

Districtwide Compliance Committee Members

The role of the Districtwide Compliance Committee is to:

  • Support the coordination of compliance activities across MCC
  • Identify the Key Compliance Metrics/Performance/and Initiatives
  • Review updates on compliance developments and best practices
  • Assist with keeping the appropriate MCC constituents informed regarding compliance matters
  • Monitor ongoing progress in Key Compliance Areas
