Severe Weather Awareness Week

As part of Severe Weather Awareness Week (March 4-10), Metropolitan Community College would like to remind students, employees and college patrons about its emergency alert program.

Following, a statewide test of Missouri’s outdoor warning systems on Tuesday, March 6 at 10 a.m.,  MCC will be testing its exterior speaker system on the MCC-Penn Valley campus and at the MCC Health Science Institute at 3444 Broadway, as well as at the MCC Administrative Center and Broadway Plaza building, both on Broadway just east of the main Penn Valley campus. The MCC test will occur at 10:30 a.m.

As a reminder, MCC emergency alerts go out through texts, emails, and announcements on and the myMCCKC portal, as well as on MCC’s main Facebook and Twitter accounts.
