MCC Chancellor Kimberly Beatty was on hand Sept. 5 at MCC-Maple Woods for a free grab-and-go breakfast. Students and employees were treated to bagels, pastries, fruit and juice.

The paper sacks holding the bagels included a message urging students to visit their instructors during office hours. Outside-of-class interaction with faculty is the week’s theme, part of an intensive focus on the student experience during the first four weeks of the semester.

Dr. Beatty has been attending student events at each of the five MCC campuses during the first few weeks of the school year. Each campus will also be hosting meetings for the chancellor to get feedback from students and employees.
