The Metropolitan Chorale of Kansas City is ready to inspire with a benefit concert this spring.
The Chorale, based out of the Metropolitan Community College-Blue River campus, is pleased to present “Sunny Days Ahead,” a benefit for Alex’s Lemonade Stand.
Date and time: Saturday, April 22, 7:30 p.m.
Location: Beacon Heights Community of Christ, 19402 E. Holke Rd., Independence, Mo.
Under the direction of Rebecca Johnson, the choral ensemble continues to be one of Kansas City’s most celebrated performance groups.
Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation has raised more than $100 million in their dedication to pediatric cancer research, helping to fund more than 475 cutting-edge research projects since 2000. Though Alexandra (Alex) Flynn Scott, founder of the lemonade stand at age four, is no longer with us, her legacy of strength, hope, and better things to come live on.
Come tap your toes with the Chorale as they remind you of sunny days and lemonade stands, all while raising money for this wonderful organization.
