Expert statistics instructors from across the state will discuss how teaching statistics has changed and how to teach using conceptual understanding, applications and meaningful homework and group work. They will demonstrate how to use technology and projects to support student learning.
There will also be workshop time for participants to brainstorm with the experts and apply what they have learned.
The MRM sessions will be participant-led with time for sharing ideas and syllabi, and brainstorming opportunities for developing rigorous, engaging and relevant modeling courses.
