Security Awareness Training

Effective Feb. 1, Metropolitan Community College employees are required to complete new security awareness training.

This training covers the following:

  • Handling of sensitive data
  • Ransomware
  • Social engineering
  • Strong passwords
  • Social media best practices
  • USB attacks
  • Common threats
  • Phishing attacks
  • And more

MCC has contracted with a leading provider in security awareness training to provide the training. Employees will receive emails from “KnowBe4” <do-not-reply@knowbe4.com>.  These are legitimate personalized emails that can only be used by the recipient to access the training.

If you do not see a notification in your inbox that looks like the image below, please check your Junk Email folder.

If you cannot find the email please use the link below to access the training: https://training.knowbe4.com/login?domain=mcckc.edu

Because of the extensive nature of this training, it will be broken into sections of 45 minutes or less. The training does not need to be completed in one sitting; the system keeps track of where you are and will take you back there when you return.

Employees will have thirty days to complete each section of the training.
