MCC welcomes new employees, Feb. 2017

Metropolitan Community College would like to welcome the most recent additions to the MCC family.

Please say hello to these new employees.

Here is more on these fresh faces, plus why they are excited about their new jobs:

  • Ali Musa, MCC-Maple Woods custodian
    • Happy to join the MCC family because of its “good people.”
  • Karen Cranfill, MCC-Maple Woods custodian
    • She is “excited about learning new things” at MCC.
  • Robert Goltra, MCC Director of Student Success
    • He is most excited to team with student affairs personnel, MCC faculty and staff, and the Kansas City area to build bridges of opportunities which lead to student success. “Student engagement and success have always been at the forefront of my work in education,” Goltra said. “This position excites me as I will have daily opportunities to collaborate with faculty and staff to further enhance the overall student experience at MCC.”
    • His first position in education was that of a kindergarten teacher, just a few weeks after retiring from the NFL (he’s a former Atlanta Falcon).
