MCC-Longview Presents Art Faculty Exhibition

Metropolitan Community College-Longview is pleased to announce its third annual Art Faculty Biennial Exhibition.

The opening reception will be held March 21, 2013 from 4-7 p.m. in the gallery of the MCC-Longview Cultural Arts Center at 500 SW Longview Road in Lee’s Summit. The exhibition will be open through April 20. Gallery hours are Wednesday-Saturday, noon – 4 pm.

Exhibiting artists are Brandon Briscoe, Amy Kephart, Kim Lindaberry, Sydney Pener, Daniel Reneau, Gary Rittermeyer, Jim Smith and Dee Washer. MCC-Longview is fortunate to have this exemplary group of instructors who are not only excellent educators but also artists and designers active in their own practices.  This, coupled with an understanding of contemporary practices, allows our instructors the ability to conduct fresh and dynamic classes which provide our students with relevant and significant information to enrich their education.

The faculty exhibition will include a wide variety of work including abstract painting and sculptural creations, figural photographic and digital prints, readymade installations and ceramic vessels.  There is much to explore and enjoy at the MCC-Longview Cultural Arts Center.  Please join us in this exhibition of great faculty work.
