MCC in the News: Five-campus graduation picked up in media

The first ever Metropolitan Community College five-campus combined graduation drew attention from thousands around the metro. Governor Jay Nixon addressed the commencement assembly and its hundreds of graduates, mentioning the Trailblazer Collegiate Academy students and calling the program a “hallmark of MCC education.”

The front page of the Kansas City Star and the Independence/Blue Springs Examiner both praised the grand accomplishments of the 2012 MCC graduates:
