Recent changes to Title IX of the Education Amendment Act of 1972, the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and Clery Act have required that colleges educate employees and students about the prevention of gender based harassment, discrimination and violence. Therefore, all MCC employees will be required to complete online Title IX awareness and prevention compliance training by Wednesday, February 28, 2018.
The training program is designed to educate employees about the federal laws and provide guidance for harassment and discrimination prevention. In addition, the training will provide you with specific information regarding employee obligations.
Employees have received a separate email from EverFi’s LawRoom entitled “Bridges: Building a Supportive Community.” The email will include a link that will allow you to access the online training program.
