At its May 19 meeting, MCC’s Board of Trustees elected a new president and vice president.
Trent M. Skaggs, a member of the board since 2012, is the new president, replacing David Disney in that role. Disney remains on the board.
Barbara A. Washington, who was elected to the board in April, is the new vice president. She replaces Mariann Tow, who recently left the board, in that role.
Other trustees are Michael Brown, Robert Martin and Christopher Whiting. The Board of Trustees has six members, each representing different subdistricts. Trustees are elected by the public to six-year terms and meet monthly.
