MCC employees, deck the halls and get ready to celebrate. The holiday season is here and that means there are plenty of parties to attend at MCC’s campuses and the Administrative Center.
The annual Administrative Center holiday luncheon will be Friday, Dec. 8. The potluck lunch begins at 11 a.m. in the break room. A white elephant gift exchange begins at 11:30 a.m. in the board room. The chancellor’s office will provide the main dish of barbecue beef and turkey, and employees will bring appetizers, side dishes and desserts. Please let Kristy Edmondson at Kristy.Edmondson@mcckc.edu know by Dec. 6 if you will be bringing a Crock-Pot and will need an electrical outlet. Please bring items to the break room no later than 10:15 a.m.
MCC-Blue River’s holiday party will take place Tuesday, Dec. 19. It’ll be held in the Education Center, Room 110, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. We’ll add more details as we get them.
MCC-Business & Technology
Celebrate the holidays at MCC-Business & Technology’s Jingle-Mingle Party. It takes place Saturday, Dec. 9, from 7 p.m. to midnight at Tanner’s Gladstone. Kids are welcome, and each person or couple should bring a gift to exchange, worth $20 at most. Mark your calendars for MCC-Maple Woods’ annual holiday party. It takes place Saturday, Dec. 9, at 6:30 p.m. at the Gladstone Community Center. Cost is $5 for individuals and $10 for couples and families.

If you’re in the mood for a little music, drop by MCC-Penn Valley for the annual December jazz band concert, 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13. It takes place in the Penn Valley Little Theater in the Science & Technology Building (Room 101). The concert will feature the music of Stevie Wonder, Count Basie, Chuck Mangione and others.
