Four Trail Blazers are Academic All-Americans, Blazers earn NJCAA All-Academic Team honors

Four of the athletes on MCC-Blue River’s Trail Blazer men’s and women’s soccer teams achieved the status of Academic All-American by maintaining a high grade point average in 2011 and 2012 while also contributing to their team.

The MCC-Blue River athletes being honored by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) for their outstanding academic Performance are:

Abby Bailey (#19), Women’s Soccer, 3.8 GPA “Superior Academic Achievement”

Abby is transferring to University of Central Missouri.

Monett Johnson (#4), Women’s Soccer, 3.62 GPA “Exemplary Academic Achievement”

Monett is transferring to Graceland University on scholarship.

 

 

Chelsea Tilbury (#7), Women’s Soccer, 3.92 GPA “Superior Academic Achievement”

Chelsea is transferring to Avila University on scholarship.

Nathan Eudaly (right), Men’s Soccer, 3.7 GPA “Exemplary Academic Achievement”

Nathan is transferring to St. Mary’s University on scholarship.

Furthermore, the Trail Blazer women’s soccer team is honored to be a 2011-2012 All-Academic Team with a 3.10 team grade point average, proving that the student athletes are maintaining a high level of academic success as a group.
