Penn Valley Carter Art Center Awards Student Art

  Last month MCC-Penn Valley’s Carter Art Center held an Award Reception for selected students to recieve monetary scholarships.  The exhibit drew over 100 visitors and supporters. Surgical Technologist Program Students Give Back

Recently, students in MCC’s surgical technologist program coordinated and participated in a collection drive for “Mother’s Refuge,” a non-profit home in Independence, MO for teenaged women who are pregnant or who are teenage mothers.  The students collected and donated baby care items such as pampers, pacifiers, and baby lotion.  Mother’s Refuge currently houses 8 moms and their …
