This revision of the District Instructional Coordinating Committee (DICC) procedure expands the committee membership and clarifies the committee’s role. This revision was requested by the Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs and Technology. It adds two Senate committee chairs (Academic Affairs and Policy and Procedures) and other instructional administrators to the DICC. The purpose of the DICC expansion is to create a larger sounding board for academic issues across the district and to develop more coordinated efforts to revise/add academic policies, which will then go through the full CPRC process for review.
